THE THEME
"Be Money Smart"

THE CONTEST

Submit a short film depicting what it means to Be Money Smart. Make it funny, make it inspiring, make it educational. Have fun with the concept — be creative! Your submission may be used as a learning tool to promote financial literacy eduction in our community.

THE PRIZES

Winner of the Judges Choice category will be awarded $500. Winners in each of the following categories will be awarded $250: Most Creative, Most Educational, Most Humorous, Most Inspirational.

AGE GUIDELINES

Contest participants must be 18 years old or younger and still enrolled in High School.

FORMAT & PARAMETERS

Your video must be three (3) minutes or less. All films must be submitted on USB, CD, or DVD and will NOT be returned. The following formats will be accepted: .AVI, .MOV, .MPG, .MPEG4, .WMV at quarter size (approximately 360x240).

CONTENT GUIDELINES

Keep it clean! Your submission must be "G" rated and appropriate for all ages. No immodesty, foul language, or other inappropriate content will be accepted.

SELECTION OF WINNERS

You and the public will vote for your favorite videos at www.BeMoneySmart.org. This voting will determine the group of contest finalists, from which the winners will be chosen by UCCU judges. Voting will begin April 1, 2012 and end April 30th.

TIMEFRAMES

All videos must be submitted by 5:30 PM on March 15, 2012. Voting will begin online April 1, 2012, and will be completed April 30, 2012.
