- 1. A parent must be present to open an account for youths under the age of 18. The parent will be a co-owner of the account.
- 2. Both parent and youth are required to bring their social security card, Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), or Matrícula Consular (Consular Registration) with them to open account.
- 3. A $5 min. balance is required to open a new account.
Note: The $3 membership fee is waived on all youth accounts. Parents are not allowed to use the youth account as their transaction account.
